Rod Coote is an Australian indie folk singer-songwriter in the New South Wales countryside on the outskirts his small hometown of Manilla. His songwriting from his early teens drew inspiration from the natural landscapes surrounded him and listening to Ben Howard, Bon Iver, Dustin Tebbutt and Noah Kahan as a teenager. Now based in Melbourne, his prolific introspective songwriting has led him to work with producers Garrett Kato, Hayden Calnin, Jackson Barclay and to support similar acts including The Dreggs, Winterbourne, Morgan Evans, Steph Strings and Kyle Lionhart.
